I'm Joe, a PhD candidate and research assistant in the department of mechanical engineering at SUNY Binghamton.

My passion for engineering and technology started at an early age, and became a clear choice to pursue in college as I became heavily involved in the FIRST Robotics Competition in high school. I continued to pursue robotics at Binghamton University, working on the inaugural mars rover team at BU. Throughout these experiences, I've always had an interest in 3D printing for making prototypes and functional designs, so I have owned and maintained a desktop 3D printer for many years.

When I'm not in the lab doing research, I enjoy reading, gaming, and traveling.
